Neeraj Gupta


Born in 1969, Delhi, India. Neeraj completed his education from Delhi University and his Masters Degree in Building Science from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. He is a member, Advisory Board India International Centre (2010-2016) and President Delhi Art Society.

He participated in Florence Biennale in 2017; Whispering Wood, VAG-IHC, in 2017; Santorini Biennale Greece in 2016; folk Strangers, a solo show at Visual Art Gallery in 2015; Isculpt, Public Exhibition in India International Center, 2014; 100yrs of Delhi, Hungarian culture centre 2011; Solo Show at India Habitat Centre, Visual Arts Gallery in 2010; Theme Artist of annual festival of India International Centre in 2009; Solo Show at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 2008; Solo Show at India Habitat Centre, Visual Arts Gallery in 2008; Solo Show of works at Indra Gandhi International Airport in 2006.

He was awarded by the “The Lorenzo il Magnifico Silver Medal Award” in Sculpture, first by any Indian in Florence Biennale in 2017; Best Sculptor Award in 77th Annual art Exhibition of AIFACS in 2005; Sahitya Kala Parishad Award 2004; 28th Annual Art Exhibition, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi in 2004. He was the Theme Artist of Annual Festival of India International Centre. He authored a book, “20 Solutions, Artist Response to Climate Change” released on the eve of Climate Summit in Paris by Environment Minister, Govt. of India in 2015.

His works can be found in the collection of South Block, Central Cathedral Church in New Delhi, many private collectors in U.S.A., Holland, and Indian Islamic Centre etc.
